All programs will be held in the meeting room.
Winter Story Times
The Menomonie Public Library offers a variety of story times for kids of all ages.
No registration is required so choose the day that works best for your schedule!
For the Younger Crowd:
Learning Together
- Children age 1-3 years attend with a parent or caregiver
- Attend a session on Tuesdays, Wednesdays OR Thursdays
- Play time begins at 10am
- Actual story time begins at 10:10am and finishes at 10:30am
- Stories, songs, fingerplays, movement and much more!
Fall Dates: Tuesday January 10-March 6
Wednesday January 11-March 7
Thursday January 12-March 8
On My Own:
- Designed for 3-5 year olds
- Kids should be able to attend the session by themselves.
- Fun stories, songs, rhymes and so much more.
- Attend a session on either Tuesday, Wednesday OR Thursday
- Story time begins at 10:40 and ends at 11:10

Wednesday January 11-March 7
Thursday January 12-March 8
For the Older Crowd:
After School Adventures
- Designed for children Ages 5-9 (or grades K-3)
- Stories, activities, games
- Snack provided
- Meets on Mondays from 4:15-5pm
Fall Dates: Monday, Janauary 9-March 5
Book Stew
- A book group designed for "Tweens" age 9-12
- For kids who have moved beyond picture books but aren't quite ready for Young Adult
- Snacks provided
- Meets on Mondays from 4:15-5pm
Fall Dates: Monday, Janaury 9-March 5
Reading in the Dog House
- Open to children currently in 1st-5th grade
- No registration necessary
- Kids read to a professionally trained therapy dog.
- Meets on Tuesdays from 4-5:30pm
Fall Dates: Tuesday, January 10-March 6
Pizza and Pages
- Middle School Book Club
- 3rd Tuesday of each month
- 7-8pm (in the story time room)
- Pizza provided!
